Vesugen is the synthetic tripeptide Lys-Glu-Asp (KED), developed from vascular peptide fractions in the Khavinson bioregulator series.

KED has been reported to regulate vascular endothelial cell proliferation via epigenetic mechanisms 1 and to show vasoprotective activity in atherosclerosis models 2.
