GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of the naturally occurring tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, found in plasma, saliva and urine. Its plasma concentration falls from about 200 ng/mL at age 20 to 80 ng/mL by age 60.

GHK-Cu stimulates collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, promotes wound healing and angiogenesis, and modulates the expression of thousands of genes toward a regenerative, anti-inflammatory state 12. It is widely used in dermatological and cosmetic research.
